George Edward Hunt (1892-1960), an Arts and Crafts silver lovers knot spoon, Chester 1939, stamped ‘GH‘ in a shield for George Hunt to the bowl and accompanying the hallmarks to the stem, the fig shaped planished bowl with a drop heel engraved with a grotesque mask, to a flat stem with applied central rib incised with lines and dots, the finial with applied lovers knot motif, approximately 19 cm long overall, bowl 5.1 cm long by 3.7 cm wide, 28.7 grams gross (Ref S274) SOLD
