Description
George Edward Hunt (1892-1960), a silver and mother of pearl set brooch, Birmingham 1917, stamped ‘GH‘ in a shield for George Hunt, the square shaped panel engraved with celtic style serpents against a matt ground, their tails holding a heart, cord border set to the centre with a mother of pearl circular panel, 4 cm square (Ref S266)
This brooch was exhibit #12 in the 2006 touring exhibition ‘George Edward Hunt-The Silent World of an Arts and Crafts Jeweller‘
