Alberto Zucchetta is a goldsmith sculptor. His workshop in Verona, Italy, still exists today. He fashioned a limited number of jewels, circa 1968, set with fossils. These fossils came from the near by village of Bolca. This region is a rich source for fossils. These date from the Eocene period (56 to 33.9 million years ago). The jewel comes with a booklet ‘Bolca e i Suoi Fossili’ by E. Straghellini. A number of cuttings, and typed letter explaining about Alberto Zucchetta and the production of his pieces. Also some black and white postcards of fossils. One postcard features a larger, more complex Alberto Zucchetta fossil pendant.
