Description
Ibe Dahlquist, a large silver pendant on chain, Malmo, Sweden, 1973, stamped ‘IBD‘ for Inga-Britt Dahlquist, three crown mark for for Sweden, ‘S’ for silver, town mark M for Malmo, date code, ‘Sterling’ and signed ‘Ibe Dahlquist‘, the pendant measuring 5.7 cm across and 6.5 cm in length, on a new sterling silver chain 50 cm long (Ref S+2296)
Ibe Dahlquist established a workshop in Visby on the island of Gotland where she worked for many years, collaborating with her neighbour Olov Barve. She went on to design jewellery for Georg Jensen.
