Iain MacCormick was apprenticed to Alexander Ritchie on the isle of Iona and continued the tradition after Ritchie’s death in 1941. Groam House Museum of Celtic and Pictish Art, in the village of Rosemarkie on Black Isle, Scotland, carries the Iain MacCormick archive of drawings for Celtic applied art, including jewellery, metalware, textiles and leather goods designs.
