The Acorn (Konge) pattern was designed by the Danish artist Johan Rohde in 1915. Rohde approached Jensen to make a coffee service for his new home some years earlier. From there a formal business relationship between Johan Rohde and Georg Jensen built up. The Acorn (Konge) pattern has proved an ever popular pattern to this day.
