Zaha Hadid for Georg Jensen, a silver ‘Lamellae‘ cuff bangle, 2016, stamped ‘Georg Jensen‘ in a dotted oval, ‘Zaha Hadid‘, copyright mark, numbered ‘623A’, ‘925S’ and ‘M/L’, with British hallmark, approximately 15 cm long, inner diameter 6.5 cm, and 213.5 grams, with original box SOLD

Part of the ‘Georg Jensen x Zaha Hadid The Lamellae Collection‘ introduced in March 2016 and discontinued late 2018. The Museum of Fine Art Boston acquired a bangle of this design for their permanent collection in 2016. Dame Zaha Hadid DBE RA died suddenly in Miami (on 31st March 2016) shortly after the range was introduced at The Watch and Jewellery Show (17-24 March 2016), Basle, on the Georg Jensen stand, she also designed the installation of the Hall of Visions lounge at the fair echoing the appearance of her collection for Jensen.
