Georg Anton Scheid, an 800 standard silver brooch modelled as a bear, Vienna, circa 1870, stamped ‘G.A.S.‘ for Georg Anton Scheid, ‘800’, and stuck twice to the pin with a letter A in square cartouche, these being the Austrian Assay Office control mark, used from 1867-1872, approximately 3.6 cm long (Ref S388) SOLD
