Thomas Carlsson for Engelbert, an unusual pair of silver earrings, Sweden, 1986, stamped ‘HE‘ for Heribert Engelbert, Stockholm City mark, Triple Crown mark for Sweden, ‘S’ for silver, ‘925 and date code, approximately 2.9 cm diameter, with an unusual method of fitting, the front linear decorated semi circular panel, carrying the earring post, the back frosted finished semi circle hinged with the earring post fitting through a small hole and locking in place, in essence the reeded semi circle is on the front of the lobe, the frosted semi circle sits behind the lobe (Ref S+467) SOLD
Thomas Carlsson designed for Engelbert from 1985 so these earrings represent an early example of his work. Engelbert have confirmed these earrings are to his design.
