V&FP, a Concorde silver ingot pendant on a chain, Birmingham 1977, makers mark ‘V&FP‘ incuse, the ingot measuring approxcimately 4.2 cm by 1.6 cm and weighing approximately 15 grams, engraved with an image of Concorde above the feature silver jubilee hallmarks, on a silver box link chain 42 cm long (Ref S+240) SOLD
The first commercial flight of Concorde was the year before in 1976, test flights having taken place from 1969, and of course it was a technological wonder and became an icon of the age. I think this was produced to cash in on that.
