William Wise & Son, a sterling silver tea strainer, the handle with Celtic knot work to a design by Archibald Knox, American, first quarter of the 20th century, stamped faintly ‘Wm Wise & Son‘ and ‘Sterling’, 16 cm long, bowl diameter approximately 6.1 cm (Ref S415)
This is based on model 351 for Liberty & Co, 1901. An example of the original design for a Coronation spoon is illustrated on page 212, ‘Archibald Knox‘ by Dr Stephen A Martin, Artmedia Press
