Diana Porter (1943-2021) began her silversmithing career in 1990, working from her front room in Bristol upon graduating in 1993. Diana went on to establish an important provincial jewellery studio and gallery in Park Street in Bristol. Her strident stance on equality and feminism was reflected in her popular Sibyl pendants. Each available with an empowering word. These particular three words are from the original 21 words first offered. Seven more words were added to the Sibyl lexicon on Diana Porter’s 25th anniversary. The choice of words has now grown to 32. Sibyl pendants, arguably, have become as synonymous with Bristol, as the SS Great Britain, Banksy and the Clifton Suspension Bridge!
