ART (maker unknown), a silver ring, Sheffield 1969, makers mark ‘ART‘ for ?????, the split shank approximately 9.5 mm wide with five alternating die stamped motifs, adjustable for size but currently size P (Ref S+738) SOLD
Keith Tyssen taught at Sheffield from 1960 and this ring follows his use of die stamped decorative motifs so it is conceivable that ART was a pupil of Tyssen.
