Joel Degen, amethyst, silver and oxidised silver ring, circa 1970, stamped ‘JD‘ for Joel Degen and ‘Silver’, size of the stone approximately 2 cm by 1 cm, ring measures 2.8 cm tall by 2 cm wide and 1.4 cm thick, finger size N1/2 SOLD

Some creations by Joel Degen (born 1944) are held at The Goldsmiths Hall, The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) Australia, and other museums and institutions throughout the world. He has exhibited widely. The Goldsmiths Hall 2000 exhibition ‘Treasures fro the 20th Century’ featured a Joel Degen ring from this series. Circa 1973 he shifted his attention to working in gold and titanium.
