Robert Friederich, originally from Pforzheim, Germany, imported silver wares into the UK. He was registered from 1902 to 1905. Julia being the German/Austrian version of Juliet. Interestingly these buttons incorporate the Sun with facial features import mark. This only being used for a very short period, 1904-1905. Previously, from 1867, the addition of a letter F denoted Foreign goods. Then subsequently the system still in use today was introduced.
