Robert Welch, a matched set of six silver Alveston pattern fish knives and forks, Sheffield 1966-1975, the six knives marked R.W. for Robert Welch, Sheffield 1975, the six forks marked O.H.T. for Old Hall Tableware, Sheffield 1966 (2), 1968 (2) and 1973 (2), knives 19.7 cm long, forks 18.7 cm long SOLD

The Alveston pattern was introduced by Robert Welch in 1963, winning a Design Centre award two years later. In the early 1980’s it was rechristened RW1, and a modified version was brought out in 2001 known as RW2
