Graham Crimmins, an early silver pendant and chain, Edinburgh 1973-74, stamped GC for Graham Crimmins, the pierced rectangular panel, measuring approximately 4.1 cm by 3 cm, on a baton link chain with a hook clasp, also part marked, 52 cm long SOLD

After completing college Graham Crimmins worked in the jewellery workshops of a Birmingham jeweller. First establishing his own workshop in Edinburgh in 1973, the pendant and chain here therefore represents an early item from his independent workshop days. He has lectured part time at Edinburgh, Glasgow, Birmingham and Cumbria colleges of art. His work is held in the collections of a number of British Museums and private collections, the American Crafts Council, and the Rohsska Museum, Sweden.
