Corocraft Jensen style fish brooch

Coro, a Georg Jensen style silver fish brooch, circa 1945 SOLD

A Coro Georg Jensen style silver fish brooch, American, circa 1945, stamped Coro and ‘Sterling’, 2.8 cm diameter SOLD

As I understand it during the war years when the Jensen smithy in Denmark were unable to produce any meaningful out put, Lunning running Jensen in New York negotiated with various companies, such as Danecraft and Coro, to produce Jensen designs. This was all unbeknown to the company back in Denmark.
